Top Ten Book Quotes

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful people over at The Broke and the Bookish
This week the list is Top Ten Book Quotes, this is another one that was hard to narrow down. I love quotes and there have been some great ones in the books I've read in the past few years.

1. “So what was that all about?"
"I think," Jace said, "that she asked if she could touch my mango."
"She said that?"
Jace shrugged. "Yeah, then she gave me her number.”
― Cassandra Clare, City of Fallen Angels

2. “Don't blame us," said my mother. "We didn't blow up half of Court, steal a dozen cars, call out a murderer in the middle of a crowd, or get our teenage friend crowned queen."

"Actually," said Abe, "I did blow up half of Court.”
― Richelle Mead, Last Sacrifice

3. “I loved you!" he yelled. He jumped up out of his chair so quickly I never saw it coming. "I loved you, and you destroyed me. You took my heart and ripped it up.”
― Richelle Mead, Last Sacrifice

4. “I can't believe you're here," she says, her voice soft. "I can't believe you found me."

"You found me first," he says, and when he leans to kiss her, it's slow and sweet and she knows that this will be the one she always remembers. Because while the other two kisses felt like endings, this one is unquestionably a beginning.”
― Jennifer E. Smith, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

5. “For the two of us, home isn't a place. It is a person. And we are finally home.”
― Stephanie Perkins, Anna and the French Kiss

6. “The trouble is, sometimes words are like arrows. Once you shoot them, there's no going back.”
― Jess Rothenberg, The Catastrophic History of You and Me

7. “You know what, you need to stay out of my bedroom. You have your own.” He smiled. “I know I do. I see it quite often. I just prefer your bed. It smells better.” I made a face. “It smells better? What does your bed smell like? Regret and bad taste?”
― Jennifer L. Armentrout, Pure

8. “Im not going to waste time being angry about things I cant control. If I only have one life, I should make the most of it.”
― Jodi Meadows, Incarnate

9. “A brave man acknowledges the strength of others.”
― Veronica Roth, Divergent

10. “She was like the moon—part of her was always hidden away.”
― Dia Reeves, Bleeding Violet
