Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?
Ok so she may not be my favorite writer, I'm not even sure I have 1 favorite. I love alot of authors and alot of books! But for the sake of the question, I would have to thank Stephanie Meyer...I know I know but really. I always loved to read, but I got into a huge few year slump where I was only reading the 2 new V.C. Andrews releases that would come out in a year. While on facebook looking through the bumperstickers app I saw all these stickers for Twilight and I <3 Edward and such and I just had to know what it was all about, so I read Twilight and I was hooked, I devoured the rest of the series and went on a binge trying to find anything with vampires, were wolves and anything else that might go bump in the night. It sparked me to start really reading again. So thank you Stephanie Meyer for being exactly what I needed at the time to find my love of reading again!
What would you ask?!?
TGIF is new here at The Book Addict, and it might not become a regular thing but I saw the question this week and I had to join in. TGIF is hosted over at GReads!
Literary Vacations: If you could take a trip this summer to any place within a fictional book, where would you go? Tell us about your summer dream vacation!
I would love nothing more than to spend a summer in Avalon with Laurell and Tamani from the Wings series by Aprilynn Pike. I loved it so much reading about her time there and I would love to just walk around and see the amazing sites and markets and maybe even attend school. Maybe while I am there I will grow a blossom and they would let me stay hehe.
Where would you go?!?
That's lovely! I know so many people who got into reading (or back into reading!) because of Twilight.

I was hooked on Twilight too when they first came out! I skipped class to finish it!
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to me! I was on holiday visiting my little cousin and she told me about Twilight just as the first movie came out, she told me it was a book and I laughed at the thought of vampires and teenagers. After reading the book after my cousin pushed me into it, I was hooked! I finished it in a day and raced to the shop to pick up the others... its safe to say, my holiday was chopped short because I spent it inside reading, hahaha. Now im open to vampire books, along with wolves and fallen angels.
